Bigger cities like Basingstoke, Bracknell and Camberley are all 30 minutes away with local transport. In case you want to reach London the mainline train services from the neighbouring stations of Earley, Winnersh, Wokingham and Reading will take you to your destination in about one and a half hour from Arborfield.
