The biggest conference about home affordability and shared ownership for first-time buyers was just here in London this past April: the London Home Show, Spring 2023 edition.
Over 4800 potential buyers came to the event on that day, many of whom we personally consulted, helping families, couples and single persons understand how to afford a new home in London and become first-time buyers.
Here's a short summary of how the day went:
The event was not just a great opportunity for people to get to know in person the housing providers for these schemes and ask questions at the fair, but also participate in talks and workshops in the conference rooms to learn all about first-time home ownership.
The London Home Show, Spring 2023 edition, celebrated 10 years since its first appearance in 2013. Every year, its popularity has been increasing tremendously.
Nick Lieb, Head of Operations at ShareToBuy, also highlighted a reason why shared ownership has now become trendy and more popular than ever: "With the government’s Help to Buy scheme officially coming to an end this month, it is now more important than ever to be providing hopeful first-time buyers with information about the alternative homeownership options available to them.”
The London Home Show will return later this year for its Autumn 2023 edition, and we'll be there. New exciting developments in London, such as SO One Nine Elms and SO Canning Town, will be announced later this year for viewings. In the meantime, you can check our available properties here.
